Cottage Rathcoole

Extension to Cottage in Rathcoole

Initially approached by the client’s Father, this small cottage built circa 1910 as a  land commission cottage on the edge of the village of Rathcoole, had been his Grandmother’s family home. The site had previously been subdivided to accommodate an adjoining relative and had a large garage to the rear. Various planning proposals were investigated and in the end it was decided to proceed with the modification of the later 1980s kitchen extension with a further addition giving  3 bedrooms  and a further kitchen dining extension.
