Modern extension  to existing  mud and thatch building on the River Liffey. The existing house was bought  by the clients  from Australia, though as locals there were aware of its existence and knew of its stunning location . The owner, who himself was involved in the construction as a trained carpenter, undertook much of the work himself. This office provided the design and  planning application drawings as well as a conservation assessment to deal with the various aspects of the project including the new road entrance boundary design and garage proposed.
