Isaac's Well
Isaac's Well, Clonmellon, Co. Westmeath
Addition of stone roof on new vaulted brick structure repair of mortar pointing and rebuilding of crenulation. This folly constructed from earlier remnants of a blacksmiths forge and Gothic arches from an unknown abbey was constructed in 1860 at the outskirts of the village of Clonmellon. The building in private ownership, received a BHIS (Built Heritage Investment Scheme) grant in 2021.
